In this article, I'll be sharing five top tips for elevating your micro-wedding, <o:p></o:p></p><h2>Unusual venues <o:p></o:p></h2><p class="MsoNormal">One of the best things about a smaller guest list is that it opens up a lot of possibilities for unusual venues. Inviting fewer guests means you can choose a selection of unconventional venues that would be too small for a large wedding, from restaurants to small boutique hotels, or even treehouses, converted windmills, libraries, and independent cinemas. Positioning your guest chairs in traditional rows can make the space feel a bit small and empty, so consider arranging your chairs in a circle, instead this helps to make things feel a bit more intimate, and ensures all guests feel included. For your wedding breakfast, it's also better to have one long table, rather than several smaller ones, as this makes the reception feel more unified. <o:p></o:p></p><h2>Non-traditional wedding cakes <o:p></o:p></h2><p class="MsoNormal">Huge wedding cakes with multiple tiers can look stunning, but for celebrations with just a handful of guests, you might find that they're a little too big, resulting in an excess of leftovers. If you'd like to mark your wedding with an elaborate sweet treat, but feel that a big cake would be overkill, go for a non-traditional dessert, like a tower of cupcakes, doughnuts, macarons, or even cake pops.
