Are you considering a micro-wedding but a little hesitant? Covid isnt the only reason to have a micro-wedding, sometimes you just dont want to have a larger day and that is absolutely fine! The fabulous Ruby Walker Photography sent us this gorgeous wedding inspiration held at Goldney Hall and we are crushing on this so badly. Read on to see more about why Ruby wanted to create this for you.

I love anything slightly quirky and outside of the box and I wanted to show my couples and potential couples that they can truly do anything they want with their days! I wanted to create a really alternative and celestial bridal look and took most of my inspiration from Dandelion and Pearls designs. We used their Ziggy Jumpsuit and Stardust tulle overskirt for this shoot. It is the perfect choice for style conscious brides who feel that a traditional white bridal gown is too formal for their micro wedding and want to have fun with their wedding look.

The jumpsuit with detachable skirt is such a fun, playful vibe and as a team we all spent a lot of time swishing the skirt and adding movement to the photos in order to really show that playfulness off. I fell in love with this design because I hadnt seen anything like it before. Now jumpsuits are incredibly popular, especially with micro weddings!

I love using smoke bombs, especially on a grey day when a little more atmosphere needs to be added to a photo. I kept with the styling for the day and used a white smoke bomb. I was sort of imagining a brides entrance to their wedding when we were shooting this section. A previous wedding at Goldney Hall the year before there was a bride who walked herself down the aisle so I took that idea and added in the smoke bomb for added OOMPH. I think Id love to enter my wedding in a cloud of smoke too to be honest... magical vibes!

With everything else I had sustainability at the forefront of my mind. Emma, the Florist came with a few options for alternative bouquets. I love the idea of using dried bunny tails or even just one huge leaf, again it added to the playfulness of the shoot.

Rose Forrest is an incredible hair and make up artist, she really helped me bring the fun to the shoot and was also involved in helping me plan. Everyone knows how difficult styled shoots are and I was so great fun to have her on my team. Abby suited this look so much and Rose used her skills to highlight all of her beautiful features. She used shimmer and oil on Abbys body to help add even more sparkle and glam to the overall look.

Goldney Halls freshly refurbed Rotunda was the perfect venue to host this shoot. If we had more time we could have also explored the grounds more, making the most of the gardens, the avenue of trees and the secret grotto. But the rotunda served us perfectly more this micro wedding vibe. It really is perfect for the most intimate of intimate weddings. It is is painted a soft shade of pink that went perfectly with the rest of the styling. The Rotunda is perfect for Micro weddings, elopements and other intimate ceremonies.

Hunter Gatherings styled the rotunda with a small sweet heart table with wispy, natural coloured flowers, gold cutlery and simple stylish glassware. It really complimented the Rotunda and fitted in well with the Happily Ever after neon sign. Becca Parry created a soft green botanical stationary set to help tie everything in together.
