It doesnt matter
who you are or what you look like, so long as somebody loves you. Roald
Dahl, The Witches.
This styled shoot shot by Tony Pullen Photography was
inspired by Halloween, showing a coven of witches with a modern twist! Models Brogan, Elle and Megan created these characters
and made them their own, each having their own unique twist on their style.
Hair was done by Rebecca
Brown Makeup, who also did the makeup for Elle, and Sharon Owens Bridal Makeup did Brogan
and Megans makeup, with each model wearing a deep burgundy lip and smoky eyes.
We pulled inspiration from classic horror themes,
incorporating them into the skull themed cake by Bake to The Future as well as the
coffin favours for the table, each inscribed with the models names. The
tableware by Bay Wedding Props
included some traditional gothic themes for the table set up, using skulls, wax
candles, black candelabras and pumpkins to finish the look! The stationery by Alf and Alba consisted of a cocktail
menu and place name signs, with a black base with torn edges design, using the
gold eyelets and hand-painted gold as the finishing touches. The chairs were
decorated with sashes and covers from That Extra Special Touch,
and the feature of the table was a beautiful flower centrepiece including
pampas, raven feathers and roses from Flowers
by Donna, who also created a beautiful bouquet to accompany the cake table.
The outfit worn by Brogan was a beautiful satin crepe flare jumpsuit with plunge bodice and tulle flutter sleeves, and Elle wore a wrap dress in a flowy slipper satin with bishop sleeves and flounced hem, both by designer Nortier Shallow. Megan wore the stunning black lace asymmetric skirts coupled with the eyelash trim lace overlay and pure silk camisole by Matchimony. Dramatic handmade jewellery was provided by Bish Bosh Becca, which was designed to make a statement! Brogan wears a black pearl and twisted gold wire cuff bracelet and matching earrings, with Elle in the extra-long gold chain and black pearl drop earrings and finally Megan in a red pearl and garnet hoop pair.
Jessica Fasciano of The Italian Dream
helped plan the day and bring the look to life with Brogan who imagined the
concept, and Tony Pullen capturing the photography whilst Angie and Matt Films creating an
accompanying video!
