We're an independent business based in Northumberland, where we design and make a range of unique tents by hand. Our structures are based on traditional tent designs from around the world, to which we add our own twist. We use locally-sourced, sustainably managed Ash for our poles, which we handcraft using traditional methods and tough, weatherproof polycotton canvas for the main cover.The result is beautiful marquees and yurts that will wow your guests and make your event truly one-of-a-kind.Our structures make fantastic alternatives to teepees or traditional clearspan marquees. We also offer a range of extras including flooring, lighting, a dance floor, fire pit and marquee heater. For anything else you need we have a list of trusted suppliers that we'd be happy to share with you to help with the planning of the rest of your event.

I cant fault the team at Roaming Tent Co enough for supplying us the Little Bell tent for the weekend for my wife's 30th birthday/festival. The service from start to finish was top class and it was an absolute pleasure for me to hire from such a nice down to earth bunch of guys. I had some measurement issues and Duncan came to the site promptly to measure up and make sure the was no problems which I was extremely grateful for and allowed me to put my mind to rest. Honestly guys I can't thank you all enough. 10/10 service and I will most definitely be using this company again for what now is going to become a yearly event ?

We used The Roaming Tent Company for the marquee for our wedding on the village green. The tents were beautiful, characterful and very creative, providing the perfect backdrop to our ‘country style’ wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. The team were totally professional and focused. They erected an extra marquee at almost no notice because the weather looked to be turning against us and the caterers were concerned. The team were excellent to work with, especially the speed and helpfulness of communications. My wife and I have no hesitation at all in recommending The Roaming Tent Company to those looking for a creative and beautiful environment for their event

The Sand Berber tent was absolutely amazing, it was exactly what we wanted to maximise the garden setting, it was as if you had custom made it for us! The ‘wow factor’ was spectacular! Everyone loved it! The set up and dismantle were seamless, you even brought the extra canopy back when we changed our minds about having it with last minute notice! You did a wonderful job! Thank you for helping make our party really fantastic!

It did us proud! 175 seated for afternoon tea, then the perfect spot for the first dance, before the stage went up and we partied through the night.
